Eredita Beer Paloma

Brewery Description: As the name suggests, this beer was inspired by one of our favorite warm weather drinks, the Paloma! ***To be very specific, this beer is an IPA first and foremost whilst including the essence of several ingredients derived from the cocktail!. Aptly listed on the label, this is a Paloma-style IPA. In an attempt to incorporate aspects of the cocktail to a hazy IPA, we included salt in our mash and added blue agave to the kettle. In the whirlpool, we added lime zest, grapefruit juice, Motueka, and HBC-586. The Paloma was then dry-hopped with more citrus zest and a heavy handed charge of both Motueka and HBC-586. Our decision to use HBC-586 was based on its strong grapefruit characteristics and our decision to use Motueka was driven by its strong lime-like notes, two of the primary ingredients in the origin beverage.
